Hello! I'm Jared Bookbinder, and I'm excited about helping you grow as a musician! Whether you're already serious about the piano, or just want to try something new, I can cater our lessons to you and your interests. I have been playing music for a very long time, so it's hard to imagine my life without it. I love sharing the joy I have gotten from music with others. I appreciate the people who have taught me so much, and I think it's important to help pass on that knowledge to others. I went to James Madison University, where I received a Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance. I have performed in a variety of solo and collaborative settings. I have experience playing many different styles of music: Classical, Jazz, Rock, Motown, Funk, Church Music, etc. I've had some really fun times playing at The Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and on ships around Central America. Even if you aren't trying to become a professional pianist, it is always good for your brain to learn a new skill. Getting involved in music can enrich your life in all kinds of ways. Feeling inspired and forming musical and personal connections with other people makes life more enjoyable.
