I will help you learn the skills you want to learn, and help you be successful with the projects you would like to complete. I have recently completed maternity leave and am available both during the day and the evenings. Due to the nature of my husband's job, I may have to bring the baby with me to your lesson. Baby will remain in a carrier and my priority will be on you during your lesson time if baby has to accompany me to lessons. Part of a youth group or Girl Scout troop? I do group lessons and workshop style presentations for all ages. Subjects include (but are not limited to) Braided Fleece rugs, t-shirt quilts, how to use a store bought pattern, basic sewing skills, and Color Theory. Click "Book Now" to schedule your group. First time learners, beginners, and people in need of a refresher are more than welcome here. Having worked in professional theatre, I have many tricks, tips, and skills up my sleeve to teach when it comes to sewing. With knitting, I began as self taught and have taken several classes and workshops to learn new techniques and skills that I can share with you. My youngest knitting student to date is 6 year old girl that I taught after we finished our weekly tutoring sessions. Thanks for considering me as your teacher!
