Hello! I am Jannette from Los Angeles, CA. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from The Art Institute. I've been a Freelance Designer for about 5 years now and sewing for 10 years. Sewing has been a great interest of mine since my early High School days. My experience includes, construction (sewing), pattern-making, draping, illustration by hand and computer (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop), Fabric sourcing/ identification and overall creating amazing garments. I love teaching my clients how to sew. I am very detailed oriented in regards to my pattern-making and construction. I believe sewing is a wonderful skill to learn as a creative outlet and can be very relaxing. I enjoy creating wearable art and teaching others to master the skill. A great tool to produce quality garments besides a sewing machine is a great iron...I always say! My style is very versatile. My interests varies from vintage looks to today's modern styles. I can teach at different speeds and skill levels depending on the student. I am highly skilled in sewing and fashion related subjects.
