I've been teaching piano for 5 years. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to play basic songs and learn how to read music, and as time goes on you'll be able to play difficult songs from any time period and learn songs you've always wanted to learn.  I  typically use Bastien Piano Basics books, and have the following tools available for your lessons: piano, practice worksheets, and individual lessons for each student. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I've been teaching private lessons since 2013 and have loved helping my students learn to play their favorite songs on the piano, pass to the next piano level with a perfect score, and learn how to read music. Janice was a great teacher. She would sit down with my daughter and read with her, and actually take her time to show her herself how to play. She provided her with a comfortable atmosphere where she was challenged to learn. She was supportive and she valued and respected my daughter. And I really appreciated her dedication to my daughter as well to all her students.

My daughter was able to learn how to play multiple songs she always wanted to learn in only a year of taking classes with Janice. She learned so much. I am so happy with the piano teacher!
