I am a Texas certified bilingual teacher specialized in elementary testing grades in the math, reading, writing and science content areas. I tailor my teaching and use hands-on, visual, and auditory tools to give learning opportunities to my students according to their learning style. I have worked with students that have dyslexia, reading fluency deficiency, reading comprehension difficulty, lack math problem solving skills and many other learning obstacles that can lead to a student’s frustration and lack of motivation to continue learning. My goal is to ensure that every student I come in contact with has the necessary tools to be successful in their academic careers and surpass the hurdle of standardized testing. I have two degrees, one in Public Relations and Spanish from the University of Houston and one in Bilingual early childhood though fourth grade teaching degree from the University of St. Thomas.
