If you are traveling to Korea, visiting, working, studying, or just interested in the language, Korean, I can help you talk to native Koreans. I've lived in Korea for 25 years and wanted to be a Korean teacher. While I was in college, I did volunteer work helping foreigners that lived there learn Korean. I also helped my husband study Korean during the time he was stationed there in the Army. I taught them many things including pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and speaking formalities. Before all the above, the very first thing you need to do is studying the Korean alphabet, Hangeul. Knowing the alphabet, Hangeul will enable you to read every single word and sentences with no problem. I can also help you with the alphabet. I like helping other people, learning things, and teaching others my knowledge. I love languages and especially my native, the Korean language. That’s the reason why I’ve tutored students in Korean till now and I’m happy to be a helper for those who are interested in my country or the language. As an English learner, I do understand difficulties learning a foreign language. I’m eager to try different ways to teach not to be stuck with the same teaching-learning method. Also, I prefer studying a language using real-life examples to that only from books. I look for sources for Korean learning in real life to teach students real Korean in a fun way. Lesson materials are provided, but you can also share your book or things you want to learn for lesson. Lessons are taught with the provided lesson materials, but your needs can be treated in lesson as well. I want to be a teacher who is sometimes like a friend. It’s okay to contact me when you have any questions related to Korean outside your lesson time. You may need a partner to work on your conversation skills, maybe preparing for working or study abroad, or be just interested in learning a new language. I’ve coached students to achieve all the above. I'd be very happy to be a big help to many Korean learners and I'm so ready.
