I have worked with elementary-aged students and special needs students in grades K-12, in both private and public schools in a one-on-one, small group, and regular classroom setting. I have certifications in Elementary Ed, Special Ed, and Art Studio Ed K-12, and I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham phonetic analysis technique. This is a highly effective and recommended phonetic approach which will enable me to assist your child in learning how to read, write and spell more proficiently. Initially, using both the school's and my own resources, I will diagnose your child's specific learning concerns. This may include communicating with you and your child's teacher so I can best assist your child to be successful in his/her academic endeavors. Sensitivity to your youngster's specific circumstances are of utmost importance to me as we work on obtaining approaches to provide him/her with the greatest academic success he/she can achieve.
