I became interested in exercise about 20 years ago after taking a yoga class with a friend. My teacher saw something special in me, and began grooming me to become a teacher myself. This led to trying other forms of exercise as well. My certifications are YogaFit (1999), PhysicalMind Pilates (2001), Body Arts and Science Comprehensive Pilates (2004), TRX (2012), Barre (2017). I've also studied Gyrotonic, willPower and more.
My experience as an instructor includes working with everyone from professional athletes to complete beginners, from kindergartners to 90 year olds. My passion is to help people move and feel better through Pilates.
During my career as a trainer, it became clear to me that nutrition was equally important to a healthy life and I began to study nutrition. After having a child, I began to realize how important my Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition choices were, both for myself and my family and I became a Dr. Sears Certified Health Coach in 2013.
Pilates & Jane changed my life. This was my first experience 12 years ago. I have scolioses since 12. I have always been very active, but now later in years, had been experiencing more back pain. I have scolioses since about 11 years of age.
Jane introduced & patently worked me in core, strengthening and lengthening work. Jane is knowledgable & encourager on all levels. She worked with me in my ballerina turnout to go parallel. I am now flexible, strong and feeling wonderful for many many years. Thank you Jane!
