Pilates with Jamie R.

Jamie is a San Francisco based Balanced Body® certified Pilates trainer, GYROTONIC® instructor, dancer and figure model. Originally from the Midwest, Jamie began studying Pilates at the age of 13 to supplement her Ballet training. In 2006, she moved to San Francisco to participate in Alonzo King's Lines Ballet School Ensemble and Training Program where she was introduced to the GYROTONIC® method. Both modalities became a significant part of her self care routine as a way to maintain physical, mental and emotional balance inside and outside of the studio. In 2010, she began her Pilates teacher training under the guidance of Lawson Harris in New York . She later relocated back to San Francisco and completed a second comprehensive certification course under the direction of Nancy Meyers. In 2017 she received her GYROTONIC® certification under the direction of master trainer Debra Rose. Jamie has completed over 1000+ hours of teacher training and continues to further her education with workshops, masterclasses and home study. Jamie truly believes that you can improve your quality of life by improving your quality of movement. She is a creative and passionate teacher that aims to challenge her clients at every level in a way that leaves them empowered to reach their goals.
