I am a skilled author in poetry, fictional short stories, and memoirs. Having written scientific journal entries, educational papers, and research protocols, I excel in professional writing with a focus on academia and scientific papers. I also served for 5 years as the poet laureate for the Mayflower society and was tasked with writing and presenting monthly poems for our organization. I am a competent editor in grammar and style and demonstrated this skill by working as a proofreader for college-level papers throughout my college career. I have also worked as a freelance copy editor (mainly for academic papers). 
I am a thorough critic and able to explain my reasoning in a way that you are able to understand. I look forward to working with you!

My name is Jamie. I obtained a Bachelor of Science dually in Biology and Chemistry from the University of New Orleans. I then moved on to receive my Master of Science in Management of Drug Development. I have worked for the past 7 years in clinical research and have written a variety of scientific papers and case report forms for various clinical trial protocols. My basis in the scientific field demands that I be as accurate and precise as possible with my use of language, specifically in regards to writing. As a freelance copy editor and proofreader, I have enjoyed my experience teaching others and look forward to helping others as well!
