Bring out your soulful best w Gospel Singing lessons from a National Champion Singer and Vocal Coach

Hey!! I’m Jameson and I'm a professional recording artist (singer, songwriter, and producer) based in Los Angeles, CA. I'm also an experienced musician and live performer with 20+ years of industry experience. Lessons in my studio are about so much more than just learning to sing a song or analyze music**. Students are instilled with technique, work ethic, real-world business knowledge, and confidence so that they can truly accomplish whatever they set their minds to. We go deep and focus on how to develop new mental and physical habits that can help you better express yourself. Everyone gets a handcrafted curriculum that I specifically cater to meet their goals and needs, and of course, that’s fun too! Singing is one of the most vulnerable things a person can do!–which is why it's so important to me that I give not only criticism and critique, but also praise and validation. Studies show that we all do our best work when we can feel hopeful, proud, and supported in our efforts. We can only improve by putting ourselves out there, which means you trying and often failing (a lot!). From lesson one, I will begin instilling you with knowledge and perspective, while always providing opportunities to build up your confidence and independence. I am always right there with you—in the trenches—celebrating your wins with you, calling out new focus points, and reminding you to recognize both the big and small growth as you move closer to your goals. I also offer the option of accompanying my students during lessons at no additional cost. I generally work with young adults (ages 16 and up) who have a genuine passion for music and/or are following a career in the arts, but I have experience working with students of all ages (from 5-75!), with a huge variety of backgrounds and interests–complete beginners with no musical background or training looking for help singing in their first choir to professional performing artists who’ve gone on to Broadway or are now on tour with Beyoncé. Singing is a skill, and just like any other skill, can be learned with the right time, energy and attention. If you show up once a week and put in the work, I guarantee that you will see improvement in your technical skills within the first month of us starting lessons together! So what are you waiting for?? Let's do this! Jameson **Reading music and music theory knowledge is useful, but not required.
