Saxophone with Jameson B.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist with 15+ years of experience in composing, performing, improvising, and private instruction. I specialize in guitar and tenor saxophone. I grew up in a small town in Arkansas called "Mountain View" which is often called "The Folk Music Capitol of the World". I learned many styles of music (including folk and bluegrass), but most notably found my voice in jazz, indie rock, and pop. I later went on to study jazz guitar and saxophone at the University of Arkansas where I pursued a degree in Music Education. I was a member of the marching band, wind symphony, jazz band, saxophone ensemble, and guitar studio. After college, I was on the road for several years touring with several rock bands and settled into a private teaching gig where I help upwards of 40 students a week for nearly 4 years. In that time, I developed progressive curriculum, worked on several albums, and helped students of all ages achieve musical goals (including All-Region/All-State placements, college scholarships, and community roles). I now work primarily as a composer and self-published artist. I'm always adding to my portfolio and enhancing my communication techniques to better the world of music education.
