I am a bilingual singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist. I studied at Louisiana State University and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. I also studied voice and music theory in the LSU School of Music. With over 25 years of teaching experience, music and languages have been lifelong passions of mine. One of my greatest desires as an instructor is to help students discover their God given abilities and talents, and then help cultivate and grow what they already have. I am committed not only to pass on information to students, but to also inspire them to excellence.

Well I have known James for as long as I can think of his name and I can tell you this he is the best person he knows how to play piano and he can teach anybody anything about piano if there’s somebody want to have teaching your child or you as a person this will be the guy I would go to I wish I had you done it long time ago when I first got to know James normally will see a great friend he is still a good friend well there’s not much I can say or there’s too much I could say book your deal today and get with James and you’ll learn how to play

James is an amazing teacher! My son has taken piano lessons from him for several years. James not only taught lessons and theory, he helped my son prepare “Prelude in C Major” by Bach for a school talent show. They also worked on Erik Satie’s “Gymnopedie”. One year, James helped him prepare a song to sing at a talent show and even came to the show and accompanied him on piano. My son has written songs that James has helped him refine. When my son showed up with a ukulele, James was able to teach him how to play it as well. We love James!
