I am a 23-year-old graduate from Princeton University offering private piano lessons and Chinese tutoring sessions in Los Angeles. I have been playing piano since age 6 and have won numerous competitions such as the Steinway Piano Competition and the Walgreens National Concerto Competition. I have been featured on Chicago's local classical music station several times, and have also soloed with orchestras including the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra. Teaching piano has always been a passion of mine, and I have been teaching for over 5 years now. I am happy to teach students of all ages. I am half-Chinese and fluent in Mandarin. Having spent many summers with my mother's side of the family in Shanghai, China, I am intimately familiar with not only the language but also the culture in China. I received a perfect score on the Chinese SAT Subject Test, and also received a certificate in Chinese Language & Culture while studying at Princeton.
