My name is James Radford Jr. My goal is to be a Northern California premier photographer.. I have always had a camera in my hand, even as a child. When I picked up my first SLR film camera. At 17, I was hooked!! In 2003 I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Photography from the University of Central Missouri. This was a very unique time in the industry. During my college career there was a transition from film to digital. Being on the forefront of the industry change gave me the unique experience of learning how to Shoot both median., This is something that most of today's photography students have missed out on.I am able to give my clients a unique opportunity to get the best of both worlds. ​ I love to explore and so my work is ever changing. Photography is about telIing stories, As I find new skills, techniques and ideas, I find new tools that I can use to make my story telling even better. Its all about capturing a moment in time that causes one to stop, step back and think. I have found I am enjoying more studio work these days, but my passion is mixing studio with natural light. I will say I like having control of my lighting conditions. I think this is what seperates a photographer from a picture taker. Bringing studio strobes into an outdoor enviroment gives me that control I am looking for. .
