With about 5 years experience in the professional music scene as well as being a creative entrepreneur involved in many projects, I can offer students a view into how the business works and what it takes to succeed and "get the gig", but most importantly; how to better your skills on your instrument! I love teaching everyone, from the beginners to more advanced students looking to hone their chops, and from the very young all the way up to more seasoned players. Lessons will be tailored to every students goals, needs, and desires, but careful attention will be paid to explain why something is being taught, such as brief explanations of music theory or anecdotes relating to musical or cultural history, rather than simple instruction of instrumental techniques. All I ask is that the student have their own instrument, as well as a proper learning and practicing environment. *** Specialties *** I regularly perform music of both the pop and jazz varieties, and am also adept at performing and teaching classical music.
