I am a clarinetist with +15 years of performance experience. Despite being a recent graduate with a Master's Degree, I have had the opportunity to perform in both North America and Europe, have competed in music competitions such as the MTNA (Music Teacher's National Assocation) and the NSO Young Artist Competition (2010, Finalist). I am primarily trained as a classical clarinetist, having performed in diverse ensemble groups such as band, orchestra, opera, musicals, chamber music, new music, jazz band, dixie-land bands. My lessons focus on the clarinet fundamentals, and build up your musical interest and passion through conceptual learning. Above all else in music, if you don't love what you're doing, then it's no longer enjoyable! Also, I will train students to become a better independent thinking musician, a performer that makes musical DECISIONS!
