I am an experienced teacher of almost a decade and have been studying classical piano professionally for over twenty three years.  I graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor's in Piano Performance and am looking to complete my Master's Degree at Cal State Long Beach.  I have taught students of all levels and ages, and I personally tailor each individual's lesson plan to each student as everyone is different and has different goals in music.  I understand that some students just want to have fun learning how to play Jazz and pop songs and I have also worked with many students who wanted to make a career out of playing the piano and would involve themselves in as many musical examinations and recitals/competitions as possible.  I am extremely flexible, knowledgeable, and look forward to hearing from you!

James MacDougall has been studying music and classical piano for twenty two years and has been teaching for eight years.  He received his B.M. in Piano Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Mack McCray and Jon Nakamatsu.  

James is extremely confident in his teaching ability and can teach children with ADHD, kids under 4,  beginning adults, advanced coachings, audition and competition preparation, accompaniment, and more.
