About James L.

James Lynch trained at the conservatory acting program at SUNY Purchase in New York. Stage credits include Tom in THE GLASS MENAGERIE at The Intiman Theatre in Seattle and Oswald in GHOSTS at The NJ Shakespeare Festival. Additional stage credits include roles in LOVE’S LABOR’S LOST, THE THREE SISTERS, A CRY OF PLAYERS, LOVERS, COWBOYS 2and THE RIMERS OF ELDRITCH. He has also appeared in new plays developed at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Seattle Repertory and The Irish Arts Center. Television and Film credits include BULL, THE X-FILES, LAW & ORDER, GUIDING LIGHT, TALK TO ME LIKE THE RAIN, EXTRICATE and NOBODY EVER DIES. 20 years experience as a Voice Instructor, he began his voice training with Chuck Jones, author of MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD: An Actors Guide to Increased Dramatic Range Through Vocal Training. In addition, he also studied with instructors Deborah Hecht, Richard Ericson and Elizabeth Himelstein. He has taught Voice and Acting in New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, Stonestreet Studios, Freehold Theatre Lab and Cornish College of the Arts. He developed and taught advanced acting courses including THE 30 DAY SHAKESPEARE INTENSIVE, EXPLORING IBSEN & CHEKHOV and THE PLAYS OF TENNESSE WILLIAMS. His voiceover work includes commercials, documentary narration, movie opens, bumpers & billboards, radio spots and audio books.
