Upright Bass with James J.

James is currently studying music and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In the music field, James has studied and performed with musicians of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Wheaton Conservatory Bass Studio, and University of Michigan School of Music. All in all, James considers himself lucky to have over 17 years of musical experience. James wishes to not only teach the technical elements of music, but also develops a student's love and passion for music. In the engineering field, James has taken countless university level math and science science class. He regularly tutors students in math and physics. James has been a coach of a First Lego League team, and encourages growth in the math, science, and engineering fields.
