From the age of 7, I studied with the legendary Ernestine Scott, who taught at Oklahoma City University for 40 years. I began teaching my own students in high school. When I was 18, I was piano soloist with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. At age 21, I won the Clara Wells National Piano Competition, judged by the famed Jorge Bolet.
Now, at the age of a grandfather, I still love teaching music to students of any age. If you or your child wants to enjoy playing the piano, give me a call…I look forward to speaking with you.
Working with adult and children’s’ choirs; teaching piano and voice to students of various ages and levels of accomplishment.
