Music Lessons with James Hart

I have been teaching privately since 2011 students of all ages and skill levels.

I worked as a guitar instructor at the New City School of Music in New City, NY.

Princess (Dawn)

I worked as the Orchestra Guitarist on the Dawn Princess based out of Perth and Sydney, Australia. We traveled to Southeast Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.), Hawaii, Tahiti (Bora Bora), South Pacific Island (Noumea, Fiji, New Caledonia, etc.), and New Zealand. I played production shows, guest entertainer shows, jazz/big band sets, and solo guitar sets for wine tastings and tea time events.

Carnival (Dream)

I worked as the House Band/ Orchestra Guitarist on the Carnival Dream based out of NOLA going to the Caribbean. I played production shows, guest entertainers, party band sets, jazz sets, and solo guitar sets.

Private Studio

I worked as a guitar teacher at the New Windsor Music Academy in New Windsor, NY.

Wingate at Ulster

I also gave music therapy to patients and residents who needed stimulation and to those who just wanted to hear live music.

Jacob's Music

I sold musical instruments, handled Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for customers, and taught private guitar instruction.

This intensive musical performance preparation program is designed for the student who wishes further musical study before auditioning for entrance as an applied music major at a four-year college or music conservatory. In addition to musical performance preparation, the program provides foundations in music theory and history and freshman-level English language skills. The student also takes weekly private lessons with a qualified instructor, and performs juries at the end of the semester.
