I am a professional guitarist with touring, record and film credits. As a teacher I have a great knack for homing in on exactly what the student needs. I've been lucky to have some amazing teachers in my life, and what an influence they've had on me. I strive to be the same and more for my students. For beginners I will get you feeling natural on the instrument and making sure you develop good habits. You'll start making music right away and start building your skills one step at a time. I'll help you with whatever sticking points you have. And we'll keep it fun, because music IS fun. For intermediates we'll take it to the next level. I'll help you where you need work and bring it all together. Theory, techniques, timing and groove (THE most important thing), ear training, reading, knowing your fingerboard, tone (in the fingers), and expanding your repertoire. For advanced students we'll custom tailor the program to exactly what you need.
