    About Jamelia D.

Hi! I'm Jamelia, and I'm excited to work with you! I've been teaching and performing music for 15 years. My students have been awarded "Superior" ratings in Solo and Ensemble, accepted into music camps for further study, and cast in school and community theater productions. I went to the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) where I earned my Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance in 2000. I also earned a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance at Southern Methodist University in 2002. I believe that being creative through music and acting can be a fun experience, and I do my best to help you discover your unique talents. My lessons involve exercises that are out of the ordinary. One day you might sing while pretending to swing a baseball bat, and another day you might sing while lying on the floor! I do what it takes to get results so you can realize your greatest potential. I look forward to meeting you!
