People often tell me that I'm approachable and friendly, so that makes our lessons extra enjoyable! I have experience teaching kids in the classroom and also online. You can expect to have some fun while gaining a solid foundation in the basics and making progress towards your goals. I was born near Seattle, WA, and I found from a young age that music came quite naturally to me. I taught myself how to drum at an early age and began composing original music. Motivated by curiosity and passion, I also taught myself how to play guitar and ukulele in college, as well as the art of mixing and music production. My interest in music took me to the quaint town of Bellingham, WA, where I combined the studies of music theory, recording, and creative writing, and I majored in Songwriting at Western Washington University. Around this time, I began playing in bands and playing gigs locally. Local gigs led to regional tours, which in turn paved the way for national tours with the bands Vervex and The Co Founder. In February of 2019, I was able to perform on international stages when The Co Founder toured to Japan and Mexico. I have produced 20+ records since my college days, either for my band Vervex or the bands I was involved in throughout the years. I now live in Olympia, WA where I teach music and English online to students globally. I've gotten to where I am now because of my dedication and love for music, which I aim to share with my students. I can play the drums, guitar, ukulele, bass, piano, and piano, and I produces all my own music under the name Vervex🐑
