I am a capable and practical teacher. My goal is to help you improve your speaking, reading, and writing skills wether you need tutoring or are just starting out on a journey of discovery of this wonderful language spoken by millions of people around the world. I'll make it easy and fun to learn wether you take Spanish, Public Speaking, or any of my other subjects with me.
My education includes a Certificate of Bilingual Competency from Glendale Unified School District for Spanish language studies which I took to maintain and improve my native Spanish language skills.
Communication is my specialty, I have a degree in Communication Studies from California State University Northridge.
Translate lessons for Spanish speaking students, assist in State testing of English language proficiency.
Assist new teacher with at risk students
Assisted teaching English to Spanish speaking high school students at Roosevelt High School; Translated bilingual program bylaws for parents; Supervised after school program tutors.
Upon completion of four years of Spanish language and literature studies and grade of 5 in Spanish language on the Advanced Placement Exam. Score of 3 on the optional AP Spanish Literature examination.
