I enjoy teaching and helping students grow musically. I feel music is not only meant to be reproduce, but also understood, which is what I share every lesson. I have a teaching method that works great, but I am aso open to what the student wants if to much structure is not what they are looking for, but you can expect to learn how to play, theory and most important, how to use your ears the best way possible.

I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2016 with a dual degree in Contemporary Writing and Composition and also Songwriting. I was awarded the Latin American scholarship after my audition to get into Berklee. Prior to my music studies, I got a degree in Business back home in Lima University in Lima-Peru.

I have been playing guitar for 15 years and teaching private lessons for 3 years now. When it comes to guitar lessons the styles I focus on are rock, blues, pop and fusion. Also teach songwriting, production and mixing.

Jaime is the best!!!! I've been taking classes for a while now, and although I am a painfully slow learner, he was able to breakdown the basics of music theory for me and build my confidence at the same time! He is very patient and extremely passionate about teaching others to become their best selves as a musician. I would definitely recommend Jaime to anyone, all my friends and family included!
