My name is Jacquelyne and I consider myself a Fashionista. I started sewing at the age of 10 when I made an apron for Mothers Day in my Girl Scout troop and ever since then I have been in love with making clothes. I decided to pursue my dream and went to Georgia Southern University and majored in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design. After graduating with my bachelors, I did quite a few internships. I worked as a set designer at photo shoots for Big Studio, a dresser for models at Neiman Marcus and Oscar De La Renta fashion shows, a fashion designer and illustrator for Tokyo White International, and a model for H&M and Windsor. While in college I did study abroad in Argentina, so I am fluent in Spanish. Just recently I decided to educate myself a little bit more, so I applied for a scholarship to attend The New School at Parsons in New York, NY and it was awarded to me. I received my certificate in Fashion Industry Essentials which helped me learn how fashion production gets sourced and also how to build a great portfolio.
