Learn crochet from a teacher with tons of patience and 30 years experience!

I'm a people person who loves to teach! I have been crocheting since I was a small child and still can not get enough. I've been teaching for about a decade in private one on one lessons, and in smaller class sizes of 4-12 people. If you want to learn to crochet, or want to get better I can definitely help. Have that piece you started and got stuck? Bring it in. Sometimes we all get in over our heads! All ages welcome.

Woah! I did not go to school to learn crochet. I saw my mom doing it and I wanted to do it too! She taught me one basic stitch and I had to go to her every time I wanted a corner done because she didn't teach me corners. Eventually I figured them out on my own, and after that there was no stopping me. I've been going strong for over 30 years now. Once I had gifted every relative and friend a blanket, and had every surface of my house covered, I still wanted to crochet, but didn't have any place to put them. So I opened a shop on line and started doing fairs and festivals. That's where a brick a mortar store owner saw my work and asked me if I wanted to come and work for her as an instructor. Of course I did! I started working for a yarn store that sold all kinds of fibers. Needle point canvases and threads. I ended up learning, and eventually teaching needle point and even knitting (which I could only teach the first class lol) that was my favorite place. But brick and mortar stores did not fair well, and the business went under. So here I am! I miss my students, but I see them when I can.

Very knowledgeable, kind and patient. I’ve had a hard time learning how to crochet in the past because I’m left handed. Jacqueline was able teach me quickly and even spent extra time making sure I got the stitches down right. Highly recommend!

Fun! Laughing, talking, creating. Instructing students on how to start projects and help them through the process to completion. Whether it be from a pattern, or an idea. Help with suggestions on yarns and tools. And of course encouragement!
