My amazing journey playing the piano began at the age of seven and has continued until present day. I am one of 17 piano students to have completed and graduated from the Berkson Music Studio, a program which educates its students in theory, technique, and broad genres of music ranging from classical to modern and jazz. I am familiar with and have performed pieces coming in great part from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary eras but also greatly enjoy playing and teaching popular or jazz music as well. Since graduating from the Berkson Music Studio, I received my bachelors in science in human biology from the University of California, San Diego, where I completed my area of concentration studies in music as well as the social sciences. Besides experience in teaching piano, I have a background in teaching college general chemistry as well as vocational education for students with mental disabilities. I have a passion for teaching others as well as a deep love for the piano and enjoy nothing more than sharing this with others.
