My name is Jacquece Moore and I am an experienced teacher of 7 years, specializing in the beginner to advanced levels for English Second Language student! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a TESOL certificate to teach ESL, and currently pursuing a Master's degree in English Second Language. All ages are welcome. Each lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you learn how to improve your speaking skills, but you will practice reading, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and writing in every class. In your first class, you will be assessed for free and you will know your learning style. This is not only important to you, but for me as I make sure you learn on the level you are supposed to and then increase throughout time. I am energetic and make learning fun. There will be real-life topics to discuss. If requested, additional practices (homework) will be provided.

    About Jacquece M.

Prior to teaching English Second Language, I was a preschool teacher at child care centers for over 20 years. I have experience teaching infants to adults. For the past 7 years, I have been an ESL 1-1 tutor and an instructor at a local college near me. I am passionate about teaching ESL to all ages. I focus on having my classes be student-led based upon their goals/needs for each session. Each student is open to give me their target areas in what they want to learn, while I add on to other areas that will support them in any conversation. In addition to ESL, I am an Academic Coach and pursing my certificate in mindfulness coaching. I think these other areas are important, too, because it brings awareness as life sometimes gives us stressors that may become unhealthy. I make sure as an Academic Coach, motivation is always present. Learning the skills of being a mindfulness coach, I support each student at the end of the each session as we practice breathing and other ways to relieve stress.
