I initially focus on the basic fundamentals of technique and how they apply to the singer I am working with. Once those fundamentals are established I shift focus on the unique needs and goals of the individual. I realized early on that trying to generalize every voice to fit a narrow technical approach is not healthy for the singer. I'm prudent in finding the healthiest and most effective approach for whomever I am working with. I don't waste time and like the student to set achievable goals and then meet those goals in an efficient and healthy way.

I want to achieve YOUR goals. The private voice teacher setting is that of teamwork not just being told what to do. It's a journey that I will guide you through, but I'm also on that journey with you. I want to teach what YOU WANT to learn.
