Hi, my name is Jacob. I have been teaching music lessons for a living for over 10 years. I graduated with my Ba. in music composition from the University of Oregon in 2008. I play and teach all styles of music including classical, jazz, rock, folk, and other pop styles. I place a big emphasis on technique and theory. I like for my students to understand what they are doing rather than just going through the motions.

I'm currently teaching music at Hanalani Schools in Mililani, and I live in Kailua. I have a pretty full schedule already but I'm always up to teaching new students, provided I'm able to fit you into my schedule.

My students ages range from 4 - adult and I have plenty of experience with all age groups. I teach guitar, piano, and ukulele.
