I have about two years of experience teaching drums.  My curriculum (that is, my teaching plan) is tailored to the student.  You inform me of the results you desire, and I design my lessons on getting you (or your drum student) to that goal.  If you are looking to sharpen your skills in general, I can help you there as well.  I including reading sheet music into my lessons, both to appeal to visual learners and to enable students' practice between lessons.

I have performing drums regularly for about 15 years, mostly at church, but other gigs as well.  (see a video at http://www.bandmix.com/wakeupjacob/)  My forte is rock and pop, but I did do a semester of jazz band, so I can help beginners in Latin and Jazz.  I studied for a degree in Elementary Education, but it was not what I imagined it would be, so I moved on to other things.
