Improv Acting with Jackie Q.

Hi! My name is Jackie and I’m a multifaceted, award winning writer/director, producer and actress with an innate sensibility for storytelling. Having worked on myriad personal projects over a 20 year span in multiple capacities, I am extremely well versed on the business of acting. Along with my own directorial projects, I have lent my know-how as a consultant to the production, development and marketing of blockbuster feature films including Aaron Sorkin’s Molly’s Game, John Lucas & Scott Moore’s Bad Moms franchise, Brian Henson’s The Happytime Murders, Peter Berg’s Mile 22, Joel Edgerton’s The Gift, Billy Ray’s The Secret In Their Eyes, Kelly Asbury’s Ugly Dolls, and more. My producing credits include NBC/Universal’s Bi-Lingual Latino Docu-Reality Television Series From Beyond, along with multiple digital projects with actor Luis Guzman. Prior to directing and producing, my work included acting and executive assistant work along side the Oscar Nominated John Singleton, Mulit-Grammy Award Winning Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, and Golden Globe Winner and Multi-Emmy Award Nominated Ellen Pompeo. Teaching began as a natural extension of the passion I have for fellow actors and creatives. In 2010, I began reading lines with friends to help with memorization. As friends began booking it evolved into classes and one-on-one coaching. Students have landed roles in primetime television and films including CSI:NY, CSI:Miami, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and more.
