Broadway Singing with Jack L.

I am a singer & voice teacher specializing in classical voice and broadway! I recently graduated from Yale with my degree in music where I performed in numerous musical and operatic productions. Professionally, I have performed across the US and the UK as a soloist in major venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Tanglewood Music Center. As a teacher, I look to foster a love of music and singing in all of my students. Learning to sing is not only learning proper technique and the correct notes but also learning how to be comfortable in your own skin and finding your own voice. I am most fond of teaching beginning students and helping them to find their start on their vocal journey. My teaching is extremely flexible to meet the needs of the student but always contains the following elements: an emphasis not only on vocal technique but also musicianship skills (such as musical literacy), a no nonsense factual approach to how your voice works, and most importantly fun!
