I started as a "foreign teacher," working with students as young as 3 years-old. As they learned, I learned  and in 2013, I became a Senior Teacher. 

I taught myself learning theories & techniques, guitar, magic and Mandarin to improve my performance as an educator. 

In 2015, I returned to the United States. It's good to be back!

I love working with patients and applying what I learned as an educator in China into the Day Care facility. I continue to design games, activities and conduct morning exercises with patients (my favorite part).

I take every opportunity to replace Bingo with an engaging, stimulating activity. Believe it or not, most of them enjoy watching Westerns over my favorite, The Twilight Zone!

Internship - Activities Coordinator

Stop playing air-guitar or Guitar Hero and play electric guitar. First, pick a favorite song and we'll learn it together. Each lesson is comprehensive like a stairway to heaven, leading you to your goal. When you can play your favorite song in front of me, we'll start on the second, then the third and so on until the day . . . when you can teach yourself, grasshopper!

I've always been an excellent writer, so I earned a degree in journalism. Writing well is a skill I hope to instill in others but it wasn't until I traveled to China that I became a teacher.

I taught myself Guitar, Mandarin, Magic and Nunchaku and I learned Ju-Jitsu, Wing Chun and teaching techniques. 

A book or Youtube is a good starting point but neither replaces or exceeds the value of instruction combined with practice. 

As I design my second board game and get my first published, I've taught myself Photoshop, Excel and Game Theory. Agricola is my favorite.

Even if you don't seek my help remember this: Will Manifests Reality. Focus your effort through your mind to change the future. Everything begins within.

Without Jack's help, it would have taken me hours to edit and polish my midterm paper. He arrived promptly and worked quickly to discover my needs. My brain isn't designed for writing, I'm a math guy. Jack's a writer. Long story short, literally, I aced my paper. If you need help with a paper or a project and you want it done right the first time, Jack's the man for you!
