About Izzy S.

Originally from Philadelphia, I am a 2018 graduate of world-renowned institution for contemporary music, Berklee College of Music, where I earned a degree in K-12 music education. A classically trained flutist, clarinetist, saxophonist, oboist and bassoonist, I have studied with instrumental virtuosos in Philadelphia, as well as some of the greatest up-and-coming musicians in the world at Berklee. I have over twenty woodwind credits in musical theater pit orchestras in the greater Boston area, as well a passion for teaching music. I have experience teaching beginning to advanced students from kindergarten to adult learners. Students can expect to develop proper instrument technique and a beautiful sound, along with an assortment of appropriate repertoire and a love of music!
