More than 2 decades of experience in the Latin Language. I taught Latin at a private school for 10 years, teaching all levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). I also taught Latin at the Centro de Lenguas in the University of Cd. Juarez, Mexico, where the majority of my students were Biology college professors who wanted to learn the language to better understand the scientific terminology used in the sciences. I'm familiar with the most common Latin courses used by schools (Oxford Latin Course, Cambridge Latin Course, Ecce Romani, Wheelock's Latin Course, etc.). My students can expect the highest quality of instruction. I will guide you step by step and together we will discover the beauty of this amazing language. Do not be intimidated, you will really enjoy learning this language, give it a try!

About Ivan I.

I'm a very friendly instructor who will give you individualized attention from the beginning of your class till the end (I like my students to take full advantage of their day and make the best out of each class, or like the Romans would say "Carpe Diem-seize the day"). I like to teach in a relaxed, student-friendly atmosphere. In addition to teaching you Latin I will also include Roman history, culture, and other interesting trivia that will make the class very interesting. I have taught all age groups, from middle school teenagers to college students. I am highly motivated and focused and will make sure that you learn something new every single class, guaranteed!

Mr. Iniguez is an excellent teacher. He has a highly energetic and enthusiastic disposition and a lot of patience for his students. There has never been a case in which I asked a question that he did not give his best to answer. He is very welcoming and knowledgeable! Not only will you get the instruction that he promises, but he will also give you fundamental knowledge on the origin of whatever he is teaching (essentially he explains how the knowledge is transferring to you came to be in history and why it matters). You will NOT regret being taught by this excellent instructor!

Ivan consistently expresses passion in his approach to instruction and a tremendous deal of empathy when it comes to his students' learning needs/abilities. He is the best Latin instructor I've met to date.
