Flute with Isaiah P.

Isaiah is a passionate teacher of the flute and piccolo. He is currently available to teach lessons at his home studio or online. Isaiah has helped students prepare for performances in Cincinnati and Japan, scholarship auditions, and begin the flute from scratch. Isaiah is pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Flute at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music as a student of Randy Bowman, Principal Flute of the Cincinnati Symphony. Isaiah understands the needs of young students and works to instill confidence in every musician he teaches. Isaiah's teaching style is dynamic, grounded in known pedagogical methods, and tailored to every student's individual goals. Isaiah's students have achieved many honors, including 'Superior' ratings at solo and ensemble festivals. Isaiah also believes while hard work and discipline are imperative to success, a young musician must also learn the skills of patience and self-compassion. Isaiah's personal musical highlights include performances with the CCM Philharmonia, Wind Orchestra, and Chamber Players. You can also find him in the pit orchestras for many theaters in Cincinnati. In high school, he was Principal Flute of the OMEA All-State Orchestra and a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has performed under the batons of Louis Langrée, Glenn Price, Kevin Holzman, Gene Chang, and Sandra Dackow. He has performed in masterclasses for Bonita Boyd, Mindy Kaufman, Aaron Goldman, and Terri Sundberg.
