Broadway Singing with Isabel S.

Singing is my passion. Well-versed in many vocal genres, I have performed in operas, recitals, musicals, and choirs internationally including the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. I have a Master of Music in classical vocal performance from the Mannes School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan. Over my 10 years of teaching experience, I have developed a variety of effective and individualized teaching tools that I continually refine. I have taught hundreds of students; helping many of them to successfully audition for dream roles, to confidently perform in front of others, and to reach their personal goals. I welcome students of all ages and levels. Pop, opera, and musical theater are some of the styles that I teach. Regardless of musical genre, my goal is to help you build a solid and healthy vocal technique, which will also improve your day to day speaking voice. Your lessons will include body awareness, character interpretation, and making the music come alive, which is in part inspired by my experience in dance, Alexander Technique, and acting. I love to teach and enjoy helping others discover their voices and achieve their personal singing goals. Everyone has a unique voice and learning style and I tailor my teaching to each individual. I look forward to helping you sing with ease and joy!
