I have been studying cello for 17 years. I have played with many very popular music acts such as, Chelsea Wolfe, No Age, Saint Motel, Tes Elations and appeared on many recordings. I have also played in many chamber and symphonic groups. *** Lesson Details *** Cello - I teach classical mostly but can also teach pop and some basic jazz. I can guide you through very serious classical repertoire. I can also teach processing the cello (effects etc.) I am quite adept at modern techniques. Accordion - I can teach up to advance playing. The Palmer Hughes and Arreta systems are what I am most familiar with. I will also teach scales etc. Piano - Basic piano. *** Specialties *** For cello I use the Suzuki method as well as my own style which includes scales, etudes and traditional repertoire that is customized to fit each students individual needs. The music theory I teach is 16 - 18th century common practice and tonal harmony.
