English (ESL) with Isaac C.

Every one of my students say it's fun to have lessons with me! They learn the best English and have fun while doing it. I am disciplined. know my craft, have over 20 years experience and understand the difficulties of learning a new language. I took French courses in high school, at Indiana University where I received my B.A. in English, and in NYC at the Alliance Francais and with private teachers. I also learned German while teaching dance and performing as a singer/dancer in Munich, Germany without the benefit of any formal instruction. I fully understand what language learners go through. physically , mentally, and emotionally. I am, also, an excellent writer and enjoy teaching the skill to students. I have helped a young Russian businessman, transplanted to Mannheim, Germany, who would barely open his mouth during lessons and knew precious little about sentence structure, learn to speak and write well enough to make a 5/6 test score on his GMAT. I helped a Spanish student speak well enough to get a new IT job with Adidas at their home base in Germany. I helped a young, 16 year old, Japanese student, transplanted to Holland, improve his English so that he was able to pass his proficiency tests with flying colors. And we all had a great time getting there! I love teaching and I love working with students who want to be taught!!
