It's not always what you learn, but "HOW" you learn it! My past students have gone off to Majoring in Music Technology, Music Business, Guitar Performance, Songwriting, Film Scoring, and Music Education.
With over 10+ years of teaching experience in both a classroom and privately, let it be in Acoustic or Classical Guitar, Songwriting, Music Engineering/Production, and now Film Scoring, I'll be teaching you everything it takes to blend everything together and start seeing some real applicable results. From working with all age groups, I promise you I can make each lesson as understandable and fun as possible!
I'd love for you to message me with what your goal might be, and I'll make sure to steer you in the right direction!
- Teaches students:
- Ages 10 to 85 and special needs
- Teaching since:
I find myself extremely fortunate being able to combine my experiences and University Degrees in Music Production, Film Scoring, Songwriting and Guitar Education with you all!
The best part of music is that it all connects with itself. Learning the Guitar, then wanting to learn how to write your own songs. But then you ask yourself "Wouldn't it be cool to record it and hear it back?!" And then learning how to edit your music and start adding other elements to it, to make it a more produced song, to then realizing how simple the process can be when it's all done. Again, it's not what you're learning that hooks you back for more, but "HOW" you're learning all this tools.
With experience teaching ALL levels and ages (No, really, ALL ages), I've built a custom way in making every topic interesting, fun, doable, and best of all, applicable to the real world. I promise you, based on the route and goal you want to achieve, you'll be able to tie it all together and see music from a non intimidating and approachable point of view.
Lessons include, but definitely not limited to:
Music Production: We'll explore how to go about creating music with a computer. Composing, Editing, Mixing.
Film Scoring: Everything from ground zero in how to write music for Film, TV, and Video Games.
Guitar: Learning the instrument, Learning chords, how to improvise, learning the songs you want to learn, some music theory through the guitar.
Songwriting: What makes a song a song? The musical elements, the lyrical motives, and blending it with commercial music patterns.
I am thrilled to be able to pass on as much music knowledge to you all and see where the journey of music takes you on!

Iran has so much knowledge about music technology, recording & production! He is very precise when trying to explain terms and techniques to any type of student from beginner to expert. Highly recommend!
The lesson with Iran gave me so much more than I had expected, and helped me to focus on some production items I was made aware of. He isnreally knowlegeable, and freely gives help with a lot of useful tips.
Mr. Garcia was one of my teachers in High School at Beach High and is one of the most important instructors I’ve had as a classical guitarist.
He taught me as a beginning player —introducing me to beginner-level pieces, main techniques, warmups and basic music theory knowledge—, as well as an advanced player —superior pieces, being aware of each piece’s dynamics and feeling, more complex music theory and dealing with solo performance anxiety—. Without a doubt, his experience as a teacher will be able to assist any kind of musician, from first-timers to competition participants. He’s patient and knows how to approach any type of issue and help.
He is also a great individual who wants to see you succeeding in whichever area you want to succeed. Some of the lessons he taught me had nothing to do with music but with life, which were, and are, a good source of inspiration.
I recommend Mr. Garcia for any of his classes, he will definitely help you a lot.
I had Mr. Garcia for sound engineering class my last year for high school. I never thought at that point in my high school career a class could interest me as much as his did. The overall ambiance he put out was so welcoming, there where no wrong answers. He accepted all thought. He encouraged us to think about what we wanted and to follow through. He made each and every lesson effortless, going step by step until each person understood. Sound engineering isn't easy. Mr. Garcia made it easy.+ Read More
I had Iran as my music technology/ sound engineering course and he was amazing. He has such a deep level of understanding and a unique way of teaching that I was finally able to grasp the concepts of music production. The main thing I loved about taking his class is that he is a not a "one size fits all" type of guy. Anytime I wasn't understanding a topic he would tailor it more to my style so I would be able to pick it up easier.+ Read More
I am the daughter of a German music producer, and have been around musicians all my life. I was also a part of a kids band, "Daddy Cool Kids" when I was ten, performing and recording an album in Germany. Mr. Garcia was an amazing guitar teacher who introduced me to the guitar at Beach high, and was a big source of inspiration for me to become a great guitarist today. After high school I took private lessons with Mr. Garcia and learned practical guitar techniques that I still use today. I would strongly recommend Mr. Garcia as an instructor to anyone who would want to improve their musical abilities, be it guitar, music production and songwriting.+ Read More

I was a student of Iran for two years at Miami Beach Senior High School, Iran taught the audio engineering classes and I had a great time getting hands-on training with the equipment at the school music technology lab. The projects he assigned were meaningful and very fun to work on, such as editing drum tracks and composing music for a silent film. Iran’s curriculum has prepared me for my college experience at FIU in Music Technology !+ Read More
