I'm a former NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PHOTOGRAPHER and Fashion Photographer, shooting ads for major corporations. My ads for Revlon, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein and other famous brands have apeared in VOGUE, ELLE, INSTYLE and hundreds of other publications. I've also been a frequent guest speaker at major photographic events and trade shows, teaching advanced techniques to professionals. I'm an expert in using Photoshop, including advanced retouching techniques, composites and layering. And I believe it's critical to master these skills to produce truly great photography, because even if you're not doing any retouching, you need to use these techniques to fine-tune your image and make it powerful. Because I started as a photo-journalist and then went into fashion and advertising, I have a in-depth understanding of how to create strong, beautiful images in all of these areas. I've hung out of helicopters and airplanes shooting for National Geographic, and worked in New York City creating images for major ad campaigns.
