    About Ian T.

    4.8
    (32)
Ian is currently obtaining an MFA in screenwriting from UGA under the mentorship of Holly Sorensen ("Step Up: High Water") and Christine Swanson ("Chicago PD"), alongside classmates including John Strauss ("There's Something About Mary") and Neil Landau ("Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead"). Ian began writing plays in high school and carried his passion into college, where he directed his own adaptation of Neil Gaiman's novel "Stardust" for Starving Artist Productions. In 2015, he was a Young Playwrights Festival resident at Horizon Theatre and graduated from Emory University with honors in playwriting for his published thesis project, "Somewhere In Between." Ian is currently the Managing Director of The Theatere, where his professional premiere was met with full houses. With the Theatere, he has also produced "What Comes to Light," a supernatural radio drama, and "A Monday Like Any Other in the Bermuda Triangle," a three-woman, environmentally-staged show. His podcast "What Are Your Thoughts On..." is set to premiere in Spring 2019.
