Drums are such a great instrument to start on. Having a solid foundation of rhythm goes a long way in music. It transfers to all the other instruments. I like to begin with the basics stick control and rudiments. Drumset is a great place to go after that or hand percussion such as djembe, conga, or hand drums. I also teach steel drums. Lets get you drumming!

Hello, I am a musician with over 20 years of experience touring here in the states as well as internationally. I graduated Ithaca college with a BA in music performance. I have lived, performed, and taught music in Nashville TN for the last 15 years. I love to pass on my knowledge of music with my students. one of my favorite moments is seeing the excitement in my students when they achieve a new skill it is such a reward to see the joy music is bringing to them. I like to start off with the basics giving a solid foundation for my students to grow from. My goal is to teach my students good technique then focus more on what interests them in music. I believe music should be fun and rewarding, it takes hard work and dedication but it is well worth it. Lets get you playing music!!
