Acoustic Guitar with I-Hsuan T.

I-Hsuan (Phoebe) Tsai is currently pursuing a Doctor of Arts (D.A.) at Ball State University where she earns the scholarship and studies Guitar Performance, Music Theory/ Composition, and Early Childhood Education. Phoebe began her musical studies at age 3 with piano, switched to classical guitar at age 12, and progressed to piano study while pursuing her degree. She earned her Master degree in guitar performance at National Taiwan University of Arts. With her devoted passion in classical guitar, she takes every opportunity to popularize it. Therefore, she focuses not only on her performing skills but also on educations. She earned educational degrees both in colleges and graduate school. As a graduate assistant at BSU, Phoebe has taught guitar lessons and guitar small ensembles at the undergraduate level. Moreover, she taught two semesters of music theory both at Ball State University and Taylor University. She is familiar with all requirements for guitar undergraduate auditions. Therefore, she is able to help students who want to apply for a music program in guitar at Ball State University.
