Flute with Hyejeong R.

Hello! My name is Hyejeong and I have been teaching since college and into my graduate school years. I have I have Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from University of North Texas and just completed my Masters of Music in Flute Performance from Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. I had opportunities to study with Terri Sundberg, John Thorne and Monica Song and perform in masterclasses with Emmanuel Pahud, Carol Wincenc, Jim Walke, Cynthia Meyers, Mimi Stillman and Jennifer Gunn. I wish to share with my students the great knowledge and passion for music I have learned from my teachers. ***Lesson Details*** Lessons will be tailored to each student and include learning tone development, musicality, technique, and variety of repertoires. I give students assignments after every lesson and I expect those assignments to be fulfilled by the next lesson in order for students to learn and grow fast. Although my expectations are high, I wish students not to fear making mistakes or questioning. My goal is to always keep the student engaged and have fun!
