Students can expect a diversity of lessons from basic all the way up to advanced sewing techniques. I do take things one step at a time and ensure that everything is understood properly in addition to answering questions and providing hands on learning experience for every student.

Hyalyn has been a Professional Seamstress and Alterations Specialist for over 30 years and she recently begun teaching private lessons again after a brief hiatus. She is currently available to teach lessons at your home. Hyalyn received her training while a student at Flagstaff High School and then she attended Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University where she studied Fashion Merchandising which included courses related to Sewing and Design. As an expert in her field, Hyalyn looks forward to helping new students achieve their desired goals. Hyalyn's teaching style is professional, interactive and fun.

Hi, I wanted to Thank Hyalyn for transforming my life.  I would stutter at work and at classes and because of my bipolar depression I would dress for some odd reason in Plaid stripes.  Oh My God !! Ms. Swithchenberg transformed my life.
